Summary: The property was beautiful. We didnt expect to have to wait to check in. Someone dropped the ball and didnt send us check in information. They also didnt have the property ready for us. The house was still a mess from the previous renters. I had hoped to be compensated for the the first day due to the fact we had to wait for house keeping. I found it difficult to believe the owen didnt know we hadn't gotten our info when he was the one corresponding with us via emails. We had arrived early and had hoped to check in early just to find out the owner had no information to give us as far as checking in. I also didnt realize there was no a/c. We did have cooling fans which didnt do much good during the day. We spent most of our days away from the house. We only cooked a couple of meals due to it being hot. One of the rooms was difficult to cool at night due to only one window and it being blocked by a wall. The back sliding door was broken and couldn't be locked so we were unable to leave it open at night. We kept all the windows open all day and night. The nights where much more comfortable with the wind blowing. One bedroom door handle kept falling off. The shades for the back doors where missing some blinds. The back screen door was knocked off the hinges when we came back one evening. We enjoyed our stay regardless of the few misshapps. We didnt go to Hawaii to be stuck inside anyway. We made the best of our stay away from the home. Only used home to sleep and shower
