The entire condo is exclusively yours to enjoy during your stay, providing privacy and comfort. An interesting fact about Hawaii: all beaches here are public—there’s no such thing as a private beach! For convenience, Kauhale Makai is just a short distance from several grocery stores, including Safeway, Times, and Foodland. If you're planning to visit Costco or Target, consider stopping by on your way from the airport!

To make the most of your vacation, we suggest renting a car, which is the best way to navigate the island effortlessly. Additionally, baby essentials can be arranged through Nokaoi Baby Rentals; simply visit their website to secure your needs, and they will deliver directly to your unit.

Please note that personal package deliveries (like Amazon) are not allowed unless it’s a medical emergency and prior approval is obtained. The state of Hawai'i imposes a Transient Accommodation Tax of 10.25% along with a 4.166% sales tax, plus a Maui county tax of 3.5%. As responsible hosts, we are required to collect these taxes.

You'll find shared laundry facilities throughout the complex, accessible via app or coins, and we provide Tide pods for your convenience. However, please be aware that snorkeling gear is not included among our beach essentials due to COVID precautions.
