Summary: We stayed for a week at this property and had a wonderful time! While it is under some construction and seems to be transitioning to Royal Sonesta ownership, impact to us was pretty minor. Pros: ample room for our family of 3 in a 1bdrm, ocean view Friendly staff Comfortable beds Food options that we thought were good nearby:Jammin Banana coffee, Nola Grill, handful of food trucks all within walking distance Target/safeway nearby for supplies Free yoga and fitness center access Kauai Boys for surfing lessons! Cons: No room charge (might be a good thing) Not a ton of restaurants within walking distance Property needs a little facelift (Royal Sonesta part has it) Pool bar food is just ok and pricey Lower floors have an obstructed view-go above 5th Overall great stay and would come back!
