The State of Hawaii requires a total tax of 17.962%. This includes a 4.172% excise tax and a 13.25% transient tax applicable to all short-term accommodations. These taxes will be specified on your reservation confirmation and are subject to adjustment. Starting January 1, 2024, the full tax rate will apply to all departures regardless of booking date.
