Summary: when deciding on where to stay on Maui we chose Kaanapali area due to it being a bit more quiet, more snorkeling options and we loved the property. It does take about 55 minutes to Wailea and airport, and about 2 1/2 hours to the very opposite side of the island one way but we didnt mind the little drives. The property itself is amazing, on top of having a spacious condo with your own little units pool and jacuzzi, if you walk to the beach it has more pools, a lazzy river, beachfront access and the restaurant Dukes was a reasonable price and yummy!! Also across the street from the condo is a grocery store. and directly next to the condo is like 7 food trucks. The condo itself, is clean, spacious and has some card games, a garage full of chairs and beach toys and a well stocked kitchen for cooking. Also it comes with your own parking spot directly a few steps from your condo. Also AC! and on a bonus we did not have a mosquito problem on the condos property. and if the weather says rain by condo, you can just go drive to another beach with some sun, worked great for us! Also the owner had excellent communication! We will be back! Also if you have little ones, a bunch of families stayed in the condos so lots of kids of all ages were in the pool area.
