Summary: The first thing that happened on the first morning was that a chair on the lanai collapsed while I was sitting in it, throwing me to the ground. One leg was rusted through. We inspected the other chairs and found one more that had a leg almost rusted through. We love Kīhei Garden Estates. Great grounds, wonderful pool and hot tub, very convenient to stores and restaurants and drug stores and grocery stores. Walking distance to Friends of the Library store. A wonderful beach across the street for long walks and perfect for sunset viewing.The condo was clean with a good bathroom and kitchen. The cookware was all new, a big plus.The bed was fairly comfortable. The screens weren’t tight, one came off in a windstorm and the living room screen had a long rip in it.Mostly a good place to stay. Needs new lanai chairs and screen repair.
