Positive: Stayed here in January 2025 and February 2026. Condo is centrally located and minutes away from shopping, restaurants and many attractions. Great view from the balcony and the onsite pool (although small) is nice to have. There were beach chairs and umbrella available and were all new, which was great. Bed is comfortable and kitchen is equipped well enough to cook basic meals. Onsite laundry is nice to have as well.
Negative: Being here back to back one year apart, the initial shortcomings were more noticeable second time around. Overall I think this condo is seriously overpriced compared to the dozens of other available rentals in Kailua. Here are the issues that will not bring us back here: - noise noise noise, its centrally located and not really soundproof from Ali’i Drive, you will hear all the annoying cars and motorbikes rev their engines every night, all the drunks yelling, sirens, etc - the condo is tired and well worn. There needs to be some upgrading done to many things like floors, couch, rug, etc - kitchen knives were beyond dull and cooking pans were scratched really bad. I don’t like teflon with my eggs so I contacted Vacasa to let them know these issues. It was only after 4 days of our 14-day stay and several messages that new pans and knives were finally dropped off. - the air conditioner is loud and runs all the time if you want to stay cool. It cools down in the evenings so you can open the windows more but the A/C unit should be upgraded as well to something quieter and more efficient.
Summary: Overall ok but overpriced and needs upgrading
