Positive: The hotel itself was fine, better than a standard Holiday Inn in the UK. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Good air con but a bit loud. Room was overlooking the pool so could be a bit loud at times but nothing that went into the night or anything disruptive. Staff were lovely and accommodating.
Negative: Location is apparently one of the best on the island but we found there wasn't much to do, recommend hiring a car like we did. There are a lot of homeless people in the area and the space between the hotel and the beach (car park and alleyway) felt a bit unsafe, especially in the dark. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. Even though it's included in the room price and has no extra cost, the quality and food area was awful. The food area is open so bugs and birds where everywhere. The floors weren't cleaned for days which attracted more bugs and looked awful. Bins also overflowing and not emptied during breakfast. The options were very limited, pancake machine broken for our whole stay and the fridge where the yogurts and milk were wasn't working for 3 days yet everything was still stored in there - warm yogurts and off milk. I went to get toast one day and the bread was mouldy, had to go and get it replaced. The hotel and rooms are fine, go elsewhere for food.
