Summary: This was my first stay in Hawaii. I was very pleased with the condo unit. It had everything we needed. The views were as shown, ocean from one direction, canal from the other. Both beautiful, in my opinion. I got answers to my questions and concerns about the rental process or what to do in particular situations in a very timely manner. It was in excellent condition on the interior. The beds were comfortable. There was a fair amount of traffic noise, However, the individual AC units helped mask it creating white noise for sleeping. We were really glad to have parking on the premises. And, we both liked having a convenience store nearby.The downside to this stay is more in the facility itself. Older building. Only one of the two elevators worked, resulting in lines during the busiest parts of each day. There was seldom staff found at the lobby desk. Not necessary, perhaps, but would have come in handy on more than one occasion. Personally, have not stayed in a place where the door to the pool area locks you in there, can't get back into lobby without your key fob. And, the lobby bathroom had a combination that I had to wait for days to get--once someone was at the front desk. That would have been very handy to have as well, especially when the lines for the elevator were long. Overall, I would recommend this VRBO unit. The things that were lovely and convenient outweigh the inconveniences, and lack of amenities one might usually take for granted.
