Summary: We had a wonderful three-week stay at this Kailua Kona condo and would happily return. The unit has been nicely renovated and the kitchen was easily the best equipped and most thoughtfully organized of any VRBO we’ve rented over the years. We also appreciated how well stocked the condo was with everyday essentials like laundry and dishwasher supplies.The balcony was our favorite spot to relax and we loved watching surfers and also watching local residents marking the end of each day by blowing conch shell. The location is ideal, just a short walk from historic Kailua Village, making it easy to enjoy shops, dining, and the waterfront.One small consideration: as with many properties along Ali’i Drive, there can be some traffic noise at night. That said, it didn’t detract from what was otherwise a lovely and very comfortable stay.
