Summary: Recently completed a seven week stay at this property, Accommodations were as listed. Home was well stocked with necessary supplies. Location was in close proximity to restaurants, the post office, farmers' markets, an extensive, well-maintained playground /field area and grocery stores .Home is located in a private, residential neighborhood, with other family members living nearby. No one was ever intrusive. The landscaped grounds had flowers, flowering bushes, and a large, grassy side and back yard. There also was a walk in playhouse, with dolls, trucks, a child's kitchen , as well as other toys. Our almost 5 year old granddaughter loved it! Communication with the owner was easy with quick response to any questions we had. We loved the South Kohala beaches, but wanted to remind all there can be a 15 to 20 degree temperature difference between the beach area and the Waimea area. Given Waimea is 2500 feet above sea level, it can get cool and you need to be mindful there is no heat in the house.My only recommendation would be for the owner to add beach chairs, given the proximity of the beaches and the fact that most people fly to HI. We would highly recommend this quiet, comfortable property.!
