Summary: I honestly didn't even recognize this as the property I had rented at first. Its a bit hard to find, the neighboring houses had numbers on the gates, this property has no identifying numbers on the gate or the house. The code worked so we figured it was the right spot. The house itself was very rundown and it was clear the pictures had been taken some time ago. The house had an overall unpleasant smell to it, I suppose that is partially due to the dampness of the location but there was a definite lack of cleanliness contributing to it. The cabinets and microwave where sticky from previous use (the microwave also stunk terribly when I used it to heat tea water. And the coffee pot was so gross my husband refused to use it. Most of the snacks we bought went uneaten because I couldn't stand to use the kitchen. The walls and doors were grimy and there was even a smooshed fly on the wall behind the sink. The tub grout was black with mildew and all the curtains were stained. The bed in the master has two giant valleys in itand the other rooms are just crammed with beds so that it technically sleeps more, even blocking a sea side sliding door in one room. Rust streaks were everywhere, and that beautiful porch from the pictures was unrecognizable. The porch itself is rotting from underneath and the edges of the flooring give as its walked across. This is the most disappointing house we've ever rented. The only side was the great view and really good food trucks nearby.
