Your Hawaiian experience begins in this charming traditional-style residence that includes three distinct areas, all rented together: the Main Hale, the Lower Garden Suite, and the Ohana Suite. Each section offers oceanfront access with stunning views and refreshing tropical breezes. Enjoy nature's comfort as you bask in the floor and ceiling fans along with soothing trade winds, eliminating the need for air conditioning.

The heart of the home, the Main Hale, boasts a fully-equipped kitchen that serves as an entertainment hub, alongside the Master Bedroom Suite featuring king-sized accommodations and an en suite bathroom. A spacious Great Room welcomes you with a well-stocked kitchen outfitted with upscale utensils and cookware, plus an indoor dining area with seating for up to 10 guests. Unwind in the living room with a big-screen TV and stay connected with complimentary Wi-Fi. For added convenience, the foyer includes a comfortable couch that transitions into a queen hide-a-bed, accompanied by an additional full bath.

Step outside onto the expansive lanai, where you can transition effortlessly between indoor and outdoor living. Enjoy the striking views, ample seating, and exceptional grilling options with either a “Green Egg” or gas barbecue, perfect for memorable al fresco meals.

The private Lower Garden Suite features a cozy bedroom with a full bath and king bed accommodations. Accessed through its own entrance, it includes a comfortable sitting area furnished with a queen hide-a-bed couch, TV, microwave, and mini refrigerator—ideal for guests seeking their own space.

The Ohana Suite complements the experience with its own king bed accommodations, full bath, private sitting area boasting two twin hide-a-bed couches, TV, kitchenette with a microwave and mini refrigerator, as well as a secluded lanai for enjoying peaceful moments.

Located on the vibrant Alii Drive, access to this property is secure through our private gate, complete with a spacious parking area adjacent to the home. Embrace tranquility at ‘Hale Maluhia,’ which translates to "House of Peace," making it the ideal setting for family gatherings or friendly retreats on the enchanting Big Island of Hawaii. Our home invites you to create cherished memories of Aloha during your stay.

Please ensure your booking request includes the number of guests and your reason for visiting Kona—whether for leisure or business—as we strive to provide a tailored experience for everyone. We are excited to assist you in arranging an unforgettable vacation on the Big Island.

We kindly remind you that there will be an additional fee of $30 per night for each guest exceeding eight. Also, please include your phone number and other essential details when submitting your request. Note that our home is not suitable for parties; it's best enjoyed in a serene environment.

Check-in time is set for 3 PM, and check-out is at 11 AM on your final day unless alternate arrangements are made ahead of time. Families traveling with infants can utilize available baby equipment such as a play yard, high chair, car seat, and stroller for added convenience.

For our guests' comfort, smoking is strictly prohibited inside the home and on the front lanai. Any violations will result in the forfeiture of the full security deposit.

Participants of the IronMan event and their families are welcome to book with us; however, we do not accommodate bookings related to businesses, events, or sales during the IronMan period. Mid-week cleaning services can be arranged, whether you prefer a thorough linen change or basic cleaning, which can be coordinated directly after booking.

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking confirmation, with the balance due 60 days prior to arrival. Please note that our cancellation policy is firm, offering no refunds if canceled within 60 days of arrival, including for Covid-related reasons, although rescheduling can be accommodated without extra fees.
