Your retreat boasts a fresh remodel featuring brand-new carpets and elegant furnishings. The master bedroom is outfitted with a king bed, while the living area includes a queen sofa sleeper for added comfort. **Please note: This unit accommodates a maximum of 2 guests only. No exceptions.**

Every condo at The Whaler comes equipped with full kitchens, modern bathrooms, central air conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a spacious lanai (balcony) where you can soak in the breathtaking surroundings.

Upon your arrival, enjoy a complimentary "Starter Kit" containing essential supplies like paper towels, garbage bags, dish detergent, and more. **Please be aware that these starter kit items are not replenished throughout your stay, and daily maid service is not included but can be arranged for an extra fee.**

Your check-in time is set for 4:00 PM, with check-out by 10:00 AM. To secure your perfect getaway, please note that our minimum stay is 5 nights, extending to 10 nights during the Christmas/New Year holiday period. Should this particular unit be unavailable, we have other comparable accommodations within The Whaler.

A daily resort fee of $33 plus tax applies, which will increase to $35 per day starting April 1, 2025. This fee covers parking and access to all resort amenities, payable upon your arrival at the front desk.

Summary: We've stayed many times at the Whaler and in a number of different units. This unit is among the nicer ones we've stayed in, with all the important elements well maintained - very clean, quiet ceiling fans, no moldy smell, and most furnishings and accoutrements in good repair. The two beach chairs were nice to have access to for beach days, and simple things like a small cold bag and some ice packs in the freezer made beach snacks easy. This was a working holiday for both of us so having the good WiFi in the unit was a definite plus. This is a delicate time for West Maui, with several thousand people still without stable, long-term housing. We realized on this trip that for our next visit in Spring, at least until the housing crisis is resolved, we'll avoid staying in these West Maui short-term rentals, but it was nice to be back for a quick visit.
