Summary: The location of this property is ideal if you are looking for a quiet place to stay and be near Waikiki. It is across the street from a large park. The property is quiet and clean. It's also close to a small beach with great snorkeling. There are just a few (3) restaurants near by so meals might require a walk up to the action in the heart of Waikiki or a car to venture out. Property is older but maintained pretty well. There isn't a lanai in the unit but there is a spacious communal outdoor courtyard and grassy area that overlooks the ocean. Kitchen is small but perfect for very simple meals if you choose to cook. There are no cooking supplies aside from salt and pepper so be prepared to stock up on your own if you do cook (including your morning coffee). Staff was great to work with. I had a Vrbo glitch (no messages displaying to see check in instructions) and the staff was able to give me the details I needed over the phone. I would have preferred a slightly higher level of furnishings- the sheets were pilled and scratchy, and metal bed frame was squeaky. But the quiet location made up for that.
