Summary: The “Bird of Paradise” was wonderful. Although the kitchen was small, it was definitely adequate to prepare breakfasts and lunches. We never tried cooking in the evening, so can’t speak to that. There is a hot plate and a toaster oven available for cooking. The queen bed was very comfortable. There were no facilities for eating inside, but luckily the weather was always pleasant enough to enjoy the lanai table for dining. The neighborhood is generally very quiet, and walkable (20 minutes) to Kahala mall with large variety of restaurants and shops.
