Summary: What a perfect location! Only a short 10-15 minute walk to Waikiki. No need for a car. We walked or took an Uber everywhere - much more cost efficient than a rental car especially with the cost of parking! A convenience store -Russell’s - is very close by and has everything you need for breakfast and lunch items - and much more. We highly recommend The Barefoot Beach Cafe which is very close for meals from breakfast through dinner. They have live music every night. Our favorite is the group that plays Hawaiian music every Friday evening starting at 5:30. The unit, although a bit dated, was very functional and had lots of drawer space for clothes, a comfortable sofa and a very comfortable bed. I loved sitting in the lounge chairs on the lawn every morning reading and looking out at the ocean. The host Mark was very responsive to any questions we had and Patrick at the front desk was wonderful! He is a font of knowledge about everything Hawaiian and so very kind and helpful. He even helped when we had trouble finding the right channel for the Super Bowl; he was able to get the channel for us quickly. We had a wonderful stay here and would definitely come back. We hope to!!! This place is well named and truly is a Gem of a Studio!!
